Internal Complains Committee

An Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) is a committee formed in institutions and workplaces to address complaints related to sexual harassment of women. In India, it is mandatory under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 (POSH Act).

Purpose of Internal Complaints Committee (ICC)
To receive complaints of sexual harassment from women employees or students.
To conduct inquiries into the complaints.
To ensure a safe working and learning environment.
To recommend disciplinary action if harassment is proven.
To create awareness about prevention of sexual harassment.
