INTRODUCTION
In today’s fast growing world, Electrical and Electronics Engineering has a
wide reach in all spheres of technology. The Electrical Engineers are
demanded in the field of generation, transmission, and distribution of
electrical energy. These engineers also make contributions in
telecommunication, television, computer technology, medicine, education,
space exploration, defence and many more. Considering the opportunities in
this field of Engineering, the Department of Electrical and Electronics
Engineering was started in the year 2020 with an intake of 60 students. The
department was established with the objective of imparting quality
education in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The
department is committed in creating new generation engineers capable of
becoming leaders in industry and society. The department has a perfect
blend of experienced faculty from industry and teaching. The department
has well established laboratories and the lab facilities that are being
upgraded from time to time, to provide adequate opportunities for the
students to learn and innovate.

This is the basic lab that supports the study of beginners in engineering. It has facilities to train the students in modern wiring practice, testing of installations glanding of cables, crimping of cable terminals etc.

Electrical Machines lab
Electrical Machines Laboratory is well equipped with AC machines (such as induction motor, synchronous motor, and alternator), DC machines (such as shunt, series, and motor-generator sets), and all types of transformers. The lab is designed as per the syllabus to cover all the experiments.

Electrical Measurements Lab is to offer the experiments related to various Theorems, characteristics etc. of Electrical circuits. This lab is involved in all areas of study, related to measurement and calibration.

Electronics and microprocessor lab
This lab is well equipped to do the experiments on power semiconductor devices, and power control circuits with discrete components. Students are also provided with hands-on experiments using 8085 microprocessor and 8051 Microcontroller. Final year students can utilize the lab for project work in power electronics.

You can join this course after successfully completing your 10 th standard. +2/ITI students can also join the course after their course completion through lateral entry.
Both public and private sector companies require qualified Electrical Engineers. Diploma engineers can find jobs in power, telecommunication, Electric Vehicle sector etc.

After successful completion of your diploma course you can go for B.Tech or B.E.
