- To enhance the knowledge of Science and Humanities which are fundamentally correlated to various branches of engineering and technology.
- To motivate students to think and apply new ideas of inventions in fundamental science and technology.
- To teach moral and sense of social responsibility to the upcoming engineers of the society.
INTRODUCTION
The department of Science and Humanities takes a lead role in setting up the foundation with engineering orientation to the aspiring engineers. The aim of the department is to broadly educate aspiring engineering students in the Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English. It sets a platform for the engineering students to learn and practice analytical and innovation reasoning professional either and communication.
It is a multidisciplinary department and it has its functioning with a team of dedicated faculty who have been actively engaged in imparting quality teaching of the course. It is an endeavor of this department so that students final application of science to everyday life, moral and social understanding.
The department is actively involving in the students personality, communication and soft skill to boost them in modern and globally competitive environment. All the labs Physics, Chemistry and English are artistically designed and contains all modern equipments, apparatus and software.The department of general English and Science also works as a supporting department to all engineering departments.

SCIENCE AND HUMANITIES LAB DETAILS
The institution has distinct and separate science laboratories for practical sessions in physics and chemistry. A modern language laboratory with audio- visual facilities is functioning here .The laboratories in the department provide ample facilities for scientific research experiments and measurements.
Language Lab

Physics Lab
- To teach some basic experimental techniques.
- To verify some fundamental laws of physics and to measure different physical quantities.

- To establish an appreciation of the role of chemistry in quantitative analysis
- To teach accurate measurements methods.
